Sharon Goodman About her work, Goodman states, “I want my work to be immediate and energetic. I try to achieve this by letting the motions of my hand show themselves and add another dimension to the painting or print &mdash a spontaneity that the viewer can feel. I have studied dance for many years, so movement and the body in motion influence my work. Movement in nature also influences me, as in the graceful way a leaf curves, or the blowing of weeds, the gentle sway of the cattails and rushes by a lake.” Goodman lives and works in Morgantown, WV.
