From the Eye of a Washington County Collector

A Selection from the Collection of Clifford T. Springer

Cliff Springer, owner of Benjamin Art Gallery, exhibits a selection of original artwork from his personal collection in a show entitled From the Eye of a Washington County Collector at the Washington County Arts Council.

Sharing his thoughts, Cliff states, "In my thirty years of collecting, I have seen thousands of paintings from all over the world, tried to appreciate every technique, and loved every conversation I have ever had about art."  All of the pieces in the show were either discovered by Springer in the local area or were painted by local artists.

Cliff has chosen to share a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this collection with Barbara Ingram School for the Arts and the Washington County Arts Council, citing the importance of these two establishments in promoting artistic pursuits in the local community.
