"Artvantage" workshops announced
The Maryland State Arts Council (MSAC) is pleased to announce the FY 2008 deadline for the ARTvantage Grant Program: Thursday, January 11, 2007. The purpose of this grant is to provide opportunities for people to experience and participate in a wide range of art forms and activities, enable arts organizations and artists to expand and diversify their audiences, extend the arts to underserved populations and emphasize the potential of the arts to help strengthen communities. This grant must be submitted in collaboration with another non-profit organization. Grant awards are $5,000-$10,000.
If you are interested in applying to this program or if you have questions about the application or the application process, please join us for an ?ARTvantage? informational workshop. We have scheduled two for your convenience:
When: Wednesday, December 6, 2006, 5-6:30pm or Thursday, December 7, 2006
