The Maryland Lawyers for the Arts (MLA) is a Maryland non-profit organization dedicated to providing free legal services to artists and arts organizations. The MLA is seeking an Executive Director for the oversight of its operations. Job responsibilities include: 1) planning and developing MLA programs and services; 2) acting as liaison with attorneys, artists, arts and cultural organizations, community leaders and government agencies; 3) recruiting volunteer attorneys; 4) managing the MLA office; and 5) fundraising. Ideal candidate has experience with non-profit organizations, grant writing and other fundraising. Familiarity with the local arts community and arts organizations is also preferred.
