Enrollment opens for children's Summer Art Camp at Doub's Woods

The Washington County Arts Council is now accepting enrollments for our popular children's Summer Art Camp
at Doub's Woods in Hagerstown. If you know of children who would benefit
from this excellent arts experience, please make sure their parents or
caregivers know about it!
This high-quality, intensive, multidisciplinary Art Camp is produced in
conjunction with the Washington County Recreation and Parks Department.
During the coming Summer, participants will enjoy art-filled days at the
Arts Pavilion in beautiful Doub's Woods. Children will receive instruction
in drawing, painting, sculpting, movement, music and drama (plus some fun
crafts!) from outstanding artists and professional teachers. Our low
teacher/student ratio is designed to ensure that each child has the best
possible-and most enjoyable-educational experience.
Full day Art Camp is intended for elementary school level children, ages 6
to 12. Morning half-day sessions are designed specially for kindergartners,
ages 5-6.
Snacks and beverages will be provided; however, students enrolled in the
full-day program must bring a packed lunch each day.
Details about schedules and enrollment fees are on the enrollment form
available at http://www.washingtoncountyarts.com/2007childForm.doc
Early applications are encouraged, because enrollments are limited.
Note that if your family is a member of the Arts Council, you can give this
wonderful experience to the children in your life at a 20% discount. If
you're not currently a member you can find the Membership Enrollment Form
for you and/or your business at
http://www.washingtoncountyarts.com/membershipApplication.doc. If you
are the employee of a Business Member, you receive a reduction in enrollment
of 10%, directly because of the generosity of your employer!
If you need further information, or assistance with completing your
enrollment form, please don't hesitate to contact the Washington County Arts
Council, 14 West Washington St., Hagerstown, MD, (301) 791 -3132. Or send
an email to kevinm@washingtoncountyarts.com
