Hagerstown, Maryland - Benjamin Art Gallery, LLC donated a portion of the proceeds from the sale of prints of Rebecca Pearl?s ?On Time ? Walnut Lane? to the Saint Mary Catholic School. The gallery also donated a framed and matted remarque limited edition print featuring the school?s front entrance to permanently reside at the school.
?On Time ? Walnut Lane? is Rebecca?s third painting of Hagerstown and provides a historic view looking north on Walnut Street (formerly Walnut Lane). This winter scene features the number 42 steam engine arriving at the Cumberland Valley Railroad Station, which was torn down in 1967. Saint Mary Catholic Church stands proudly in the background and brick row houses that no longer exist today, line the left side of the street.
Limited edition prints are available at $79; the image size is approximately 13 1/8" high x 19 3/8" wide. To purchase a print or for more information, please call the gallery at 877-797-4775 or visit www.benjaminartgallery.com. The gallery is handicap-accessible and open 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
Benjamin Art Gallery is a member business supporter of the Washington County Arts Council.
