Mansion House will show new works by Alla Zotova Maier
Hagerstown, Maryland ? works by Alla Zotova Maier will be exhibited from August 3rd through August 26th, 2007 at the Mansion House Art Gallery in her solo exhibition ?Reflection of Emotions?. The opening reception for this exhibit is on Sunday, August 5th, from 2?5pm.
More than 20 original paintings, all oil on canvas, will be available for purchase. The artist's work is of a contemporary nature, with vivid use of color and shapes.
Russian born Alla Zotova relocated to the United States in 1997. In 2003, Alla moved to Hagerstown, Maryland and now considers it her hometown.
Alla earned a master's degree in electrical engineering, but as an adult discovered a hidden passion for painting. Her children, family and friends are the inspiration for her work. In the artist's words, "The world of abstract captured my heart, my thoughts and most of all, my soul. I am blessed with the ability to express my emotions through art. It is an honor to know that people enjoy my paintings and choose to display them in their homes."
Mansion House is located in Hagerstown's City Park. Regular gallery hours are Friday-Saturday 11am-4pm and Sunday 1-5pm.
