Gallery Manager and Program Assistant:
Lindsay Weaver is the Gallery Manager and Program Assistant at the WCAC, and is also an exhibiting artist. She has been with the WCAC since June of 2007, and is the “front-line contact” that organizes and oversees each exhibit from start to finish. Lindsay is also the contact for membership, program information and is the artist liaison. Lindsay received her BFA with a focus in printmaking and ceramics, and a minor in art history, from Frostburg State University in 2007. Her current work is a departure from the usual nature inspired prints and textures. She is experimenting with a combination of block printing, acrylics and other mixed media. Lindsay recently exhibited her work at the WCAC gallery with artist Kathryn Paul in an exhibit titled “Two Hearts and Apron Strings”.

Lindsay welcomes established and emerging artists, art lovers and advocates from the surrounding community to come in and check out the many opportunities to exhibit, sell, view and buy wonderful and varied works of art from local artists. Lindsay is always eager to meet and network with artists, and is currently accepting exhibit proposals for the upcoming 2009 exhibit calendar.
