Catherine Maffett
Ms. Maffett earned a BFA in Painting and Printmaking fromVirginia Commonwealth University.
In addition to drawing, painting and printmaking, her work has included graphic design, commercial illustration, binding handmade books, and jewelry.
Her drawings and works on paper have been shown throughout the region and are included in
private collections.
Her jewelry has been sold regionally as well as outside the area, includingthe San Diego Museum of Art.
After a 32-year career in advertising in Northern Virginia, she continues to work in the studio at her home
on the Potomac River in West Virginia.
