Cindy Garland

Cynthia Garland is a lifelong resident of Hagerstown, Maryland. She has worked as a bookseller; host of the radio show "The Sunday Jazz Brunch;" television copywriter, editor and producer; college instructor; and as Director of Marketing for a media company. She holds an Associate in Arts degree in Mass Communications, a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology, and a Masters degree in Business Administration. In addition to writing, her passions include flying airplanes, SCUBA diving, music and literature. Her favorite writers include Edgar Allan Poe, Harper Lee, Richard Brautigan, J.D. Salinger, Douglas Adams, and David Sedaris.
