I found my passion for painting 13 years ago and have been lost in that passion ever since. I have taken several classes and workshops by many renowned artists such as Elisabet Stacy-Hurley, Janet Salter and Marie McCafferty. Most recently I attended a workshop taught by David Good from Baltimore’s Schuler School of Fine Arts. My ongoing studies include art & painting techniques. I am now selling my work locally as well as nationally. My artwork has been recognized with awards in juried shows such as the Cumberland Valley Artists Exhibition and the National Arts Program Exhibit at Johns Hopkins. I have exhibited and sold my work in various galleries such as Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, Washington County Arts Council, Delaplaine Visual Arts Center, Heiler Gallery, Ice House Gallery and Wallspace Gallery. I am a member of the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, Washington County Arts Council, Wednesday Portrait Group, Spectrum Seven and The Valley Art Association, where I have served on the Board of Directors for 6 years. I have been asked to jury for art shows and to exhibit my work in numerous venues and businesses. Portraiture and other artwork is available for commissions.
