Jewelry making began as a passion that grew into a profession when word got around about the distinctive jewelry I'd been making for myself and my friends. My inspiration comes from nature’s beauty and simplicity. I love visiting new places and studying the ancient streets and buildings as well as modern architecture. In my earlier years I explored different media including sculpture, oil painting, film making and photography before finding my true passion creating jewelry. I love studying and teaching and I believe to be a teacher means to be an enduring student. I continue to study at special workshops and intensives. "I feel I can best express my artistic abilities by forming and shaping metal. All of my pieces start as either a sheet of metal or a length of wire and ends up as a piece of one-of-a-kind artisan jewelry". Gina
