It’s Christmas Day and four-year-old Evie has dropped Daddy off at the emergency room for a stay eventually lasting a month. Soon after, she decides on her mission: get Daddy better.

Based on personal experience, “Mission: Get Daddy Better” is the lighthearted story of Evie, and her two-year-old brother, Declan, embarking on a clandestine operation to help their father recover from a brain injury. Affectionately narrated by Evie, it highlights how positive thinking, cooperation, thoughtfulness and love can help guide a family through difficult times. – By Todd McElwee
