Haley Hollins is a multidisciplinary artist originally from Arkansas, now based in Hagerstown, Maryland. Their work is deeply rooted in social justice, particularly the nuanced and often overlooked injustices of the American South. Drawing from a background in psychology, their practice blends personal reflection with broader cultural critique, offering work that is both intimate and political. Working across a wide range of mediums—including painting, mixed media, and most recently, ceramics - their evolving practice is guided by curiosity, emotional depth, and a drive to amplify untold stories. Their creative journey has taken her from the U.S. to Florence, Italy, where they began exploring ceramics as a tactile form of expression and storytelling. They are also the author of a published book that combines art and journaling as a pathway for inner child healing, further reflecting their commitment to art as a vehicle for both personal and collective restoration. Their work continues to evolve through exploration, always circling back to a central question: What does it mean to witness, to feel, and to resist through creation?
