2024 School Safety Art Showcase Call for Students
Calling all artists! Our 2024 Art Showcase this year will focus on 'Safe Spaces.' Capture the essence of security within the school environment through your unique perspective. From the physical to the emotional, express what makes you feel safe. Showcase the collaborative efforts that contribute to school safety, and let your artwork be a powerful testament to the strength of our educational community.
All entries must be original student pieces of work that do not contain logos, copyrighted imagery, or information. Failure to comply with these guidelines will result in your entry being disqualified. Please read the following documents before submitting the art.
All paper entries should be in a standard letter size 8.5x11 inches in portrait mode. All digital entries must be printable in an 8.5x11 on paper using 300dpi CMYK.

The Washington County Arts Council, Inc. is funded by an operating grant from the Maryland State Arts Council, (MSAC), an agency dedicated to cultivating a vibrant cultural community where the arts thrive. An agency of the Department of Business & Economic Development, the MSAC provides financial support and technical assistance to nonprofit organizations, units of government, colleges and universities for arts activities. Funding for the MSAC is also provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency, which believes that a great nation deserves great art. Additional funding is also provided by Washington County Government and generous businesses, organizations and individuals.
The Washington County Arts Council is a proud member of County Arts Agencies of Maryland, Maryland Citizens for the Arts and Americans for the Arts.
