As a graduate of Antioch University with a degree in Ceramic Arts, I have been creating stoneware pottery in my studio for over thirty five years. My objective has always been to create beautiful pottery for everyday use that also reflects my interests in cooking and my flower gardens.
My pottery is created on the potter’s wheel and is finished with glazes of my own formulation; these are glazes that have been developed through years of experimentation and use. My pots are fired to 2200 degrees F. to produce stoneware, a lead-free, durable pottery.
I make more than 200 different pottery forms for a wide range of uses in the home and office. When this number of forms is combined with upwards of 100 different glaze colors and glaze application effects, there is no limit to the range of unique pots I can make.
You are welcome to visit my studio to learn more about how my pottery is created. Also, I welcome the opportunity to take commissions and make pottery that will meet your special needs.
