Dianne Wiebe

Hagerstown, MD 21740
Dianne Wiebe has had several careers since launching herself into the work world. After creating and providing an innovative program for handicapped adults, she moved to directing non-profits. In a fortunate convergence, she found herself able to combine architectural preservation and main street revitalization efforts to create a fusion of progress and protection at a statewide level. For ten years in upstate New York, she was a journalist, writing news and feature articles for the Kingston Daily Freeman, the Shawangunk Journal and several other local papers. She also worked as communications and publications director for the Redemptorist Fathers at Mount St. Alphonsus Retreat Center, and for the Ellenville School District. Ms. Wiebe successfully combined skills in writing, photography and in layout and design to produce high quality publications and several books. She is co-author and publisher of a non-fiction book titled Yama Farms, a Most Unusual Resort, set in rural New York.
