I have made a collection of cellular phone purses. I designed the purses to be functional and fashionable. The design is simple, but useful. For those times when you don’t need a large purse, yet you want to carry your phone, you have a fashionable bag to accompany your outfit that is just right for your phone. But it can, of course, be used to carry any small items. I know one girl who uses it to carry her drawing pencils. You can use it to carry your wallet or keys or identification.

The concept of the design is simplicity and fashion. I start with fabrics I like and then design the embellishments, such as the ribbons, bows, flowers, beads, buttons, or lace. I like to use fabrics that can be worn with a variety of styles, but have uniqueness about them. The embellishments, combined with the fabric styles, reflect my artistic and fashion vision. Each one is hand sewn by me.

I am currently a student at the Barbara Ingram School for the Arts, studying visual arts. My hope is to pursue a career in fashion in the future.
